   INUKSHUK Greeting Cards
Meaningful messages rendered in torn tissue art.
Supporting Native and Inuit Art Programs
Lifelike figures of rock erected by the Inuit, stand along Canada's most
northern shores. They are Inukshuk (pronounced IN-OOK-SHOOK) -
an Inuit word meaning "in the image of man."
As directional markers, they served to guide those who followed. As such, they stand as
eternal symbols of the importance of friendship,
and our dependence on one another.
